as businesses across the U.S.

As eCommerce
manager, I generated $10 million annually in online revenue from
a $100,000 budget through the use of search engine optimization,
pay-per-click advertising, email marketing, affiliate programs
and site design. I was responsible for the maintenance of twenty
web sites as well as the development of new ones. I also designed
HTML pages for email campaigns and deployed them to in-house lists.
In addition to e-commerce duties, I also wrote marketing copy
for all print collateral. After one year I transferred to the
IT department as a web designer and developer, creating dynamic
sites for Hilton, Marriott and other luxury resorts and hotels
nationwide.

December 2000 to May 2001
My primary task was to create
a web site to promote the Video Teleconferencing Machine - a kiosk
that uses video teleconferencing technology to provide financial
services to bank customers. I also assisted in the deployment
of the VTM system over the Internet, including HTML programming
and GUI design. The challenge was to design an application that
could function without the use of a keyboard or mouse, so that
anyone - even non-experienced computer users - could obtain service.
I wrote the technical documentation to train the call center staff
and worked closely with the company president and CFO to complete
the company business plan.

I held the position of Marketing
Department manager for this software development company and created
all sales collateral, including direct mail and email, newsletters,
four-color brochures and magazine advertisements. I was also responsible
for the design and maintenance of three company web sites and
the production of technical documentation, online help and software
graphics. As the first person to hold this position, I created
the company "look" and brought uniformity to all their
marketing materials.
